Weekend Happenings

If you are in the Brooklyn area this weekend, be sure and check out the grand opening of Brownstoner’s Brooklyn Flea. It promises to be the largest outdoor market in New York City and will be happening every Sunday in April this year, rain or shine, from 10 am to 5 pm.

The Flea will be at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Fort Greene, Brooklyn (my old neighborhood!), at 176 Lafayette Ave between Clermont and Vanderbilt Ave. At the market will be more than 200 vendors of new and vintage furniture, lighting, records, clothes, jewelry, crafts, and more. For a full list of vendors, click here.

I’m gonna keep my eye out for a new coffee table. Keep your fingers crossed for good weather!
