Painting

Some explanation is in order. I didn’t paint this; I don’t know who did. However, it is now on my hallway floor.

First, let me say that I live next to a building that the cops refer to as “The Crips Castle.” Unless it’s snowing, there is always a group of guys on my stoop.

Are they really Crips? Who knows. But I do know they’re super nice to me and today they gave me this. Why? I have no idea. Where did they find it? I also have no idea. What does it mean? I’m still clueless.

It sort of looks like Iggy Pop wandering aimlessly in a desolate forest after shedding his t-shirt because Iggy awesomeness is just too much to be kept inside by layers of clothing. Below him are also his keys, wallet and cigarettes. Man, I sure hope Iggy figures out where he’s headed. I have no clue what to do with this thing.

  1. If you don’t want it yourself, you could put it on Freecycle (assuming your neighbors don’t shop that website), or donate it to a teen center.

    • Freecycle is a great suggestion. Thanks, Amy.
Right now it lives on my hallway wall until I figure out a better place for it, whether that place be in my apt or somewhere else
