Shrink Art Jewelry – Adorn (Spring ’07)

Hooray! The newest issue of Adorn is out, and my necklace made the cover! I absolutely love the way they styled the story (“Plastic Fantastic” featured on page 66), which highlighted pieces made by me and the awesome Anna Sea.

From the issue:

Plastic Fantastic: Shrink art jewelry comes of age.

Two designers give their contemporary takes on this blast-from-the-past craft. Try out their techniques, or invent your own!… Jewelry is only the beginning—you can also create key chains, magnets, cell phone charms, belt buckles, even luggage and pet tags…Flaunt your artistic style with jewelry as unique as you are. Nicole Smith used simple beading techniques and delicate filagree accents to highlight her brilliant hand-drawn motifs.”
