Hat Project on Sewing Republic

Another one of my projects is live on theSewing Republic site! This time it’s a hat project you can complete is less than an hour. The hat is made using your head’s measurements, so it is drafted to custom fit you. I made it using rib knit fabric from Jo-Ann’s, but it also looks great in a chunky sweater knit fabric or even a sequin material.

Knit Top Project on Sewing Republic
I’ve been quite M.I.A. lately. But the weather has finally started to thaw out here and so has my brain, I think. I’ve been doing a lot of crafting for work lately and haven’t done much for myself. Last weekend I finished a 6-month-late birthday present, and this coming weekend... Continue Reading

Sewing Republic Sneak Peak
When I’m at flea markets or designer discount stores, there always seems to be something that has a forceful gravitational pull to my psyche…that horribly unorganized bin of handkerchiefs. I have to scour through them and hold up each one to analyze it like a scientist. Handkerchiefs always have the... Continue Reading

Tiny Chucks for Tiny Daniel
It might be safe to say I’m a little obsessed with Chuck Taylors. I have approximately 10 pairs in almost every color, however I almost always wear one of my two favorite pairs. You’d think my pair of orange ones were part of my anatomy since they were attached to... Continue Reading
